We recently completed a scheme for First Choice Housing at 5 Coed Cae Bach in Swansea, involving a range of internal and external alterations to meet the specific needs of a new wheelchair-using tenant.

The works included the installation of Secured by Design composite doors with level thresholds, a reconfiguration of the internal layout for improved accessibility, a rise and fall kitchen, a fully accessible wet room, new flooring throughout, and full internal decoration. External adaptations featured front and rear wheelchair access ramps with handrails, enabling safe and independent access to all areas of the property.

Additional works included the installation of a new photovoltaic (PV) system to help reduce energy costs and improve sustainability, a new energy-efficient boiler, alterations to the existing sprinkler system, and fire door installations at the client’s request to enhance safety throughout the home
